First this is non expert view to mp3 codecs.
This is an ilustrative comparsion of only one of many aspects that afect
to audio quality.Original
wav was taken from song Technical Itch - Stac 2. I
used only first 10s for spectral analysis.Settings is here . Original was grabed with
AudioCatalist2.1 from CD. For AAC is used PsyTEL MPEG-4 AAC with these setting:-br 128 -c 9999.
For Fraunhofer codec is used highquality settings for best audio quality.
For LAME is used these settings: --preset studio -q0 --nspsytune -b
128 (v3.88 2.2.01).Ok there is my spectral analysis
